The Shaheed Mahendra Karma Vishwavidyalaya, Bastar, Jagdalpur, Chhattisgarh is one of the leading institutions of higher education in Bastar Region of Chhattisgarh State of India which is predominated by tribal communities and largely devoted to post graduate studies and is widely known for its excellence in research and for its distinguished faculties. The current campus is located at Dharampura-2 area in Jagdalpur City (municipality). It has immense biodiversity and a place of silent learning which give the campus a natural beauty.

The Shaheed Mahendra Karma Vishwavidyalaya, Bastar, Jagdalpur, Chhattisgarh has 14 different courses (Graduation, Post-Graduation, PG Diploma and Certificate) in 10 School of Studies/Departments in University Teaching Department at Dharampura Campus. The Vishwavidyalaya has about 30 regular Non-Teaching Officers and employees, among teaching staff, there are 6 Regular (2 Professor and 4 Assistant Professor), 10 Contract Assistant Professor and about 20 Guest Lecturers. In Academic Session 2021-22, about 600 students are admitted in various School of Studies/Departments in the University Teaching Department.
