About Us

School of Management Studies as a new department started from July 2018 to impart quality education in the field of Business Administration.

Aims of School of Management Studies (SMS)

  • To foster learning and creative thinking among the student and teaching community.
  • To nurture creativity of students and encourage entrepreneurship as profession.
  • To collaborate with academia, research institutes and industries for strengthening the education and research ecosystem.

About Master of Business Administration (MBA)

MBA programme offered by SMS, Bastar Vishwavidalaya, Jagdalpur, is a two years full time professional degree programme consisting of 4 semesters. Currently the total student’s intake capacity is sixty (60).

This professional programme aims at imparting theoretical and practical knowledge in the area of Business Management. The curriculum of MBA program is designed to develop managerial skills in the students and preparing them as future leaders, decision makers for all facet of life. Industrial visits are done in order to develop corporate working culture and informed decision making among the students. Admission Procedure and Eligibility

  • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with at least 50% marks (45% in case of SC/ST/OBC) from a University established by law in India.
  • Valid score card of CAT/MAT/ATMA.
  • Admission is through counselling processed by DTE, Raipur (C.G.).

Fee Structure: Rs. 30,000/- Per Year (MBA programme is of 4 Semesters).
